Records of the Kansas Board of Technical Professions, 1931-2004.

Most of the records from the Kansas State Board of Technical Professions and its predecessor agencies consist of licensing files for architects, landscape architects, land surveyors, and engineers. Engineers and architects, being the most populous groups and the two professions longest regulated, each have approximately fifty cubic feet of licensing application files, while the other two professions only have about five cubic feet each, and geologists one cubic foot. Due to these files having individually identifiable examination scores, college and university transcripts, and other records of a confidential nature, many series from this Board fall under restrictions in the Kansas statutes and therefore may not be fully available to researchers.

Circa 120 cubic feet + microfilm.
